CHARACTERISTICS OF SMOOTH MELON
The greater presence of sugary components, a characteristic that manifests itself in all its intensity from the first bite, does not take away the freshness and aromas typical of a fruit that unquestionably remains the protagonist of the hot summer days.
The skin is always light in colour, almost white for certain varieties, with a discreet thickness, a generous guardian of the quality and aromas of the pulp inside.
In any case, great care must be taken when handling and storing these pearls: never exaggerate with pressure and abrasions, which would result in visually unpleasant spots, of a darker colour, compromising the shelf life and therefore the quality of this precious fruit.
STORAGE
Smooth melon can be stored in the refrigerator or at room temperature before complete ripening.
